Weight Management
Weight loss is hard to do and can be a sensitive issue for both the doctor and the patient. However, weight loss can be a very effective component of treatment. There are several strategies for losing weight.

The goal is weight loss of 5-10% of your starting weight. For example, someone with a starting weight of 110 kg) would have a target weight loss of 11 kg In some cases, weight management medications or (bariatric) surgery may be helpful. It is important to discuss this with your doctors.
